2) Port Flow Software Enhancements for Automatic Valve Opener

We've been doing more development on our Automatic Valve Opener, and have added some more enhancements.  Most of these involve the Automatic Valve Opener working with the SF1020 flow bench, automatically finding and changing ranges, working with metric units, etc.

Our Port Flow Analyzer software works with most any style flow bench, including SuperFlow, JKM, Performance Flo, FMA (Australia), and "do it yourself" custom benches using pitot tubes, LFEs, hot wire sensors, or orifices to measure air flow.  If you have a flow bench, the Port Flow will work for you.  If you add our Black Box II electronics, we can also automate the data recording, saving you time and producing professional and accurate results.

Following our simple plans, you can also build an EZ Flow system for under $1000 plus some PVC fittings and a shop vacuum.  With proper options, you can build a bench which can flow up to 600 CFM or more.

for more info on our EZ Flow System to build your own flow bench.

If you have the Automatic Valve Opener and have been having some problems, we strongly recommend you get this latest version.  If you have the current v3.5B, this is a free update.  Install the latest version from the link below right over the top of your existing version:

http://performancetrends.com/download.htm#pfa

This is not critical, but when asked, select to do a Refresh installation instead of a Complete (typical) installation.  Once installed, click on Help (at the top of the main screen), and then select About...    The new version number (written in blue) should now be 3.5 B.055.

If you own v3.5A,  you will have to purchase the v3.5B update for $85 for these updates.    to contact us for ordering this update.  Be sure to include your full name and billing address in this email so we can find you in our database.

3)  More FAQs Answers Added   We are always adding to our FAQ page when customers ask questions that we have heard before.  If you have any one of our products, we recommend you visit the FAQ page even if you don't have questions.  You will get some in-depth explanation of different features that you may not have known were available.

We just recently answered a question about a "Cam Grinder" feature in our Cam Analyzer.
