1)  Port Velocity Indicator via Sound  We've been working on lots of new features for our popular Port Flow Analyzer software, to create the v3.5 C.  It comes in 3 versions, the Basic, Pro and Head Porter.  It is still so new that we have not had time to update the user manual to describe these new features.  By next month, we should have the user's manual updated so you can see all the new features.

One handy new feature in the Head Porter version is the ability to hear the port velocity.  Turn on "Port Velocity Indicator via Sound" and put on head phones and you will hear a tone, where the pitch will go up and down as the port velocity goes up and down.  Now you can concentrate on where the pitot tube is in the port and not have to watch a manometer or computer screen to see if the velocity is going up or down.

If you already own a Port Flow Analyzer program, the update cost from v3.5 B to the new v3.5 C is $75 for Basic, $100 for Pro, $150 for Head Porter.  If you have a v3.5 A version or older, the costs will be more.  If you also want to upgrade your system at the same time as updating it, like going from v3.5 B Pro to v3.5 C Head Porter, we will offer you a package discount.  Send us an email using the button/link below to request a quote.

2)  Cam Test Stand-Rotary Encoder Flat Mount  We've added a new Cam Test Stand hardware accessory, a Rotary Encoder Flat Mount.  Many times, motorcycle or other small engine cams do not allow for a pointed index to center the rotary encoder, or the amount of flat steel on the end of the cam is very small.  The "Flat Mount" allows you to still mount the rotary encoder magnetically to the end of your cam.

click images to enlarge   Part Number: CTS-RMF and CTS-RMFI  Cam Test Stand Rotary Encoder Flat Mount and Insert will attach the rotary encoder to cams without a flat face on one of the ends.  These are typically motorcycle cams.  for instructions.
