1) New Engine Log Book Pro Feature  We released a major update to our Engine Log Book Pro back in March, the new Version 1.1 C.  Here's a list of the major changes, including a feature we just added this August:

• Automatically read in a Surface Finish file.
• Let you specify an alternate location for storing files and easily switch back and forth between the default or alternate location.
• Manage up to 8 different picture files for most all screens.  (see picture below)
• Lets you pick a new Cylinder Numbering pattern for Ford Power Stroke diesels.
• Piston-to-Valve Clearance report (with new Preference to use Piston Fly Cut depth in the calculation)   
• Valve Spring Report  (see picture below)
• Allow multiple inputs for doing the Valve Spring Report (Valve to Deck Clearance, Spring Installed Height, Coil Bind)
• New Feature added August 2023, v 1.1 C.009.  You can add a new inputs of Intake and Exhaust Lift at TDC.  This will be used to adjust the cam lift profile to improve the accuracy of the Piston-to-Valve clearance calculation.  See picture below.

If you already own the Engine Log Book Pro v1.1C, this is a FREE update.  If you already own the Engine Log Book Pro v1.1B, this is a $150 update.  If you own the Engine Log Book standard or Plus, it is a $450 or $350 upgrade charge respectively.

2) Dyno DataMite v4.2B Released  Last month we announced the release of our updated Dyno DataMite software, the new v4.2 B.  Here's a list of some of the major improvements:

1. Enhanced Dyno Controller features, including:
2.     Hybrid Control Mode, where RPM is held constant at start of accelerating power run, then control switches to more stable load control.
3.     Stand Alone Control Mode where the Controller does not need to communicate with the PC to run tests.
4.     Several new improvements and settings for Load Control and RPM Control.
5.     Many of the Control Parameters can now be modified right on the Current Readings screen for faster testing.  See picture below.
6.     You can construct a Controller Schedule to step through through various RPMs. This is ideal for doing break ins. Enterprise Edition only.  See picture below.
7. Each test file now also contains Configuration and Preference settings. This allows much easier restoration of these settings should they get corrupted.
8. You can include an additional data channel for display on the Main Screen. You can also specify colors for these graph lines.  See picture below.
9. You can specify a Min and Max RPM and the program will automatically start recording data at the Min RPM and stop recording at the Max RPM, and display the exact time between these 2 RPMs. This is ideal for inertia dynos. Enterprise Edition only.
10. You can specify a "red line" for either or both of the round gauges on the Main Screen.
11. New Preference settings allow you to eliminate most all messages between power runs.
12. You can reorder the position of data columns in the reports. For example, Corr HP could come before Corr Tq.
13. Much more.

The update from v4.2 to v4.2B for the Basic version is $100, for the Pro version is $150, and the Enterprise Edition is $250.  If you have a version older than v4.2 the cost will be higher.  If you have the Pro version 4.2 and want to update and upgrade to the Enterprise Edition v4.2B, it would be $150 + $ 350 = $500.  But we can do that package for $400, a $100 discount.
