The Base System starts at $699 with:

DataMite III USB with 3 RPM channels and 12 analog channels.

Engine RPM input cable

12 VDC power input  cable

Driveshaft RPM sensor and magnet collar for yoke (also then gets you calculated clutch or converter slip)

3 axis accelerometer

USB communications cable for setting up and troubleshooting

1 Gig (1000 meg) SD memory card, provides hours of recording time and incredibly fast uploading to your computer for analysis.

Lighted Start/Stop logging switch

50 or 100 Hz sampling rate

Accepted by the NHRA for classes which allow data loggers

You could expand this to our $999 Sportsman Package and add the following to the $699 Base System above:

4 internal thermocouple channels
2 EGT probes with 1/8" NPT fittings (for left and right EGT, or 2 individual cylinder EGTs)
2 fluid temp probes with 1/8" NPT fittings (for water, oil, trans fluid temps, etc, or switch to 2 more EGT probes)
Weather sensors and recirculating fan (temperature, humidity and barometric pressure for wet and dry density altitude)
You still have 10 more 0-5 volt channels and 1 RPM channel for more sensors.

2)  DataMite III Logger for your Circle Track or Road Race Car  Like the Drag Race DataMite described above, the Circle Track/Road Race version is custom tailored to your special needs.

The Base system starts at $699 with:

DataMite III USB with 3 RPM channels and 12 analog channels.

GPS sensor connector (sensor not included in base system)

Engine RPM input cable

12 VDC power input  cable

Driveshaft RPM or wheel RPM sensor with magnets

3 axis accelerometer

USB communications cable for setting up and troubleshooting

1 Gig (1000 meg) SD memory card, provides hours of recording time and incredibly fast uploading to your computer for analysis.

Lighted Start/Stop logging switch

50 or 100 Hz sampling rate

The $949 Starter System with GPS would add a GPS sensor which magnetically attaches to the top of the car.  It would give you MPH, lap times, track mapping, engine and tire RPM, tire slip, lateral/longitudinal/vertical G readings, and much more.  With GPS, internal accelerometers and engine RPM (everything except wheel RPM), you can install this system in minutes and move from car to car.

3)  Customer's Custom Flow Benches  We've always had a page where our customer's have shared pictures of their custom dyno installations called "Customer's Dynos using DataMite" under the "Our Customer's" menu item.  Well, we've recently done the same for our Customer's Flow Benches using our Black Box II electronics or EZ Flow System.  Recently we've had a couple more customers share their photos, data, and even a movie file of their flow benches in action using our Black Box II electronics and Port Flow Analyzer software.

Click on the following blue link for the Customer's Flow Benches page to check this out.  The one customer Performance Through Research in Canada is doing 2 stroke "cylinder flow".  If you are not familiar with flowing 2 stroke engines, their ports are in the side of the cylinder.  To measure the performance of the port, you measure flow as the piston slides down the bore and starts to uncover the ports.  The  PTR guys are recording flow at various crank angle degrees of 48 to 104, and call it .048 to .104 inches of valve lift, which works out very well in the  Port Flow program.  Check out their data, as they get outstanding repeatability with our EZ Flow System.

Jerry Luke of Sun Engineering in Arizona also sent in pics.  Check out his novel way of selecting various flow orifices.  He's using our Port Flow Analyzer and Black Box II set up for a Custom bench, which is basically the EZ Flow System with multiple ranges.

4)  Darin Morgan's Head Design Seminar  Darin Morgan (noted head porter and designer, formerly of Reher Morrison), has his own Head development company in partnership with Profiler Performance Products now:  Darin Morgan Cylinder Heads.  He's doing a 2 day seminar on March 20 and 21, covering all aspects of head, port and combustion chamber design, porting, flow testing, wet flow, theory and Engine Simulation, and much more.  Click on these links for more information:   www.darinmorgan.com  www.profilerperformance.com  or email Darin by clicking on this link:  dmorgan@profilerperformance.com

5) Engine Analyzer Pro v3.9, minor updates  We've continued to get feedback on the new Engine Analyzer Pro v3.9.  One comment was that the Cylinder Head Flow Table should show lift in MM if the program was set to MM for dimensions.  So we added a new Preference to let you select this.  If you don't change any Preference setting, the program continues to show the Flow Table in inches and CFM.  But if you've selected to have the Engine Dimensions in MM, now you can choose to have this table in MM and CFM, or MM and LPS (liters per second).  Our Metric users should like this update.
