1) Flow Bench Calibration We often get questions about how you can adjust your Port Flow Analyzer's Flow Bench Specs to produce accurate flow bench readings. The best way to check if you bench is accurate is to flow a calibration orifice plate. These plates should produce a certain CFM at a certain pressure drop, like 10" or 28" of water. We have now added a "frequently asked question" FAQ to walk you through how you do this.

2) Dyno DataMite 'Bug' Fixes A couple users found problems with the reports (columns of numbers) not matching the torque and HP results shown on the main screen. This typically occurred if you included the Engine Accel Rate in the report. Another bug that was fixed is the program would not always report the results up to the highest RPM of the accelerating test for power runs. Both of these bugs and other bugs have been fixed. These are free updates to owners of the latest v4.2B software.
Typical Report showing Columns of Numbers
As with most all our software, if you go to our software Downloads page, under the installer for the software is a button to read the recent changes in the readme.doc file. The installer info shows the very latest version number, say v4.2 B.050. If you click on Help, then About Dyno DataMIte you will see your full version, perhaps v4.2 B.028. The readme.doc file will show all the recent changes and what bugs may have been fixed since your v4.2 B.028. Then you can decide if it is worth downloading and installing this latest version.
If you don't have a v4.2 B version (like v4.2A, v4.1, etc), there would be a charge for this update. Also, earlier versions may not have these bugs, or any other bugs mentioned in the readme.doc file.

for the Dyno DataMite v4.2B installer. IMPORTANT: If you don't
own v4.2B and you install v4.2B, but do not want to purchase this update, you
will have to reinstall your older version.
