1)  New 4 Link Plus Features  Our 4 Link Calculator is our MOST popular program.  If you're a drag racer with a 4 Link, you should check it out.  

We recently added some new features for the Plus version:

1. You can draw the car body setting higher or lower.  It doesn't change the math, but makes the picture better match your car.
2. You can draw a Torque Arm thinner, to avoid covering up some the the details about possible instant centers.

This is a free update if you own the Plus version.  To get it, just install over the top of your existing version from the link button below.  When asked, select to do a Refresh installation instead of a Complete (typical) installation and you will avoid having to unlock it and reload some of your Preference settings..

Your 4 Link offers lots of "tunability" because there are so many possible combinations of settings.  With just 6 holes in each of the 4 brackets, you have almost 1300 possible combinations that you could run.  That's why you want the 4 Link Calculator to help you sort these all out.

Once the program has your measurements, you can see what your current combo's settings are. Compare them to some good "starting point" recommendations.  See what some other combos you have tried look like.  Once you have numbers with each combination of 4 link settings, you can see:  

• This combo is more likely to hit the tires harder by 5%, but this combo will hit them harder by 50%.  
• This combo is more likely to lift the front of the car, where this combo will make the rear rise up.
• Turning the top bar 1 full turn will give me 6% less anti-squat (a measure of how hard you will hit the tires), but change pinion angle 0.8 degrees.
• What happens to anti-squat and pinion angle if I turn the lower bar 1/2 turn (Plus version only).
