Subject: Product News/Updates, June 2013

  1. Port Flow Analyzer v3.5 B Released
  2. Holiday Schedule
  3. Last April's Newsletter

-------------------------------------------

1)    There are now 3 versions of our popular Port Flow Analyzer program for flow bench testing:

  1. Basic
  2. Pro
  3. Head Porter

Here's some images of the new features in the Head Porter version.

Version 3.5B has new features for all versions, however the more advanced Head Porter version has the most.  The most significant new features include:

You can now record Port Velocities at 1, 2 or 3 depths in the port, and at 1 or 2 valve lifts (as before) or at every valve lift.  Head Porter Only.
Electronics screen and FlowCom screen now have optional gauges (bar graphs) to help visualize pressure and flow readings.  Head Porter Only.
Many new options for creating custom, user defined graphs, including graphing flow corrected to 2 different test pressures, like 28" and 10" water.  Head Porter Only.
You can now include a picture of the head or item you are flowing as a "test piece picture" with each test.  This picture can be printed in printouts of graphs and reports.  Head Porter Only.
Many more examples of Cam Specs for thousands of popular cams have been added, the same library of specs as our Engine Analyzer v3.4.  Head Porter and Pro Only.
Options to work with our "soon to be released" motor controller.  Head Porter and Pro Only.

And many more.

for the user's manual supplement for all the new v3.5 B features.

Note to v3.5A owners:  The new v3.5 B is also available on the website for downloading as a free demo.  However, it overwrites your v3.5A and turns your v3.5A into a v3.5B demo.  The only way to re-activate your v3.5A is to reinstall v3.5A from our website, as a refresh installation, right over the top of the v3.5B.  You may also have to unlock your v3.5A again.  Therefore, unless you are sure you want to purchase the v3.5B, I would just look at the User's Manual Supplement at this time.
