1)  Blowby Calibration Checker  We've developed a method for you to check your blowby sensor, to see if it is still in calibration.  You supply regulated shop air and hook up a hose between the checker and your blowby sensor.  Read the pressure on the gauge and check the calibration chart to see what the actual blowby reading should be.  If your sensor reads close to the chart's reading, you know your sensor is still in calibration.

2) Free Subscription to Speedway Illustrated  The editors at Speedway Illustrated are offering a free subscription to their print edition for 3 months.  This is the biggest print magazine for the circle track racer.  All you have to do is go to their home page:

     www.speedwayillustrated.com

Click the Home button at the upper left, then click the picture at the bottom of the page (as shown below).  Fill out the mailing address form and wait for your subscription.  Act fast because the offer ends Friday, April 24.   Many thanks, Speedway Illustrated!

3) 4 Link Calculator  If you're a drag racer, you're probably itching to get back to racing.  While things are "on hold", maybe try our 4 Link Calculator.  Now you would have the time to measure your 4 Link holes and get your setup mapped into this very powerful analysis program.

Your 4 Link offers lots of "tunability" because there are so many possible combinations of settings.  With just 6 holes in each of the 4 brackets, you have almost 1300 possible combinations that you could run.  That's why you want the 4 Link Calculator to help you sort these all out.

Once the program has your measurements, you can see what your current combo's settings are. Compare them to some good "starting point" recommendations.  See what some other combos you have tried look like.  Once you have numbers with each combination of 4 link settings, you can see:

  • This combo is more likely to hit the tires harder by 5%, but this combo will hit them harder by 50%.
  • This combo is more likely to lift the front of the car, where this combo will make the rear rise up.
  • Turning the top bar 1 full turn will give me 6% less anti-squat (a measure of how hard you will hit the tires), but change pinion angle 0.8 degrees.

Answer these and hundreds of other questions about your 4 link setup.  There are also options for Ladder Bars and Torque Arms (3rd and 4th generation Camaros, Plus Version only).  Plus Version adds several more advance features, like more holes in each bracket, showing bar angles and lengths, Adjust option to adjust a bar and see how everything else changes (shown in picture above), and much more.
