1)  New Quick Cam Checker Parts  We've developed some new parts for our Quick Cam Checker.

We now have adapters for the ends of the lift sensors, either magnetic (QCC-PKM) or threaded (QCC-PKT).  If you are measuring valve lift off the valve spring retainer, the magnetic adapter should provide a more solid connection between sensor and the steel retainer.  The 4-40 threaded adapter should let you get creative with mounting adapters for your more unusual valve trains.

We have also developed a strain relief kit (QCC-SRP) to provide a more solid connection for the USB cable in the logger.

2)  New Compression Ratio Pro Features  We've added some new features to the Pro version of our popular Compression Ratio Calculator.  Our Compression Ratio Calculator is the most detailed and precise Compression Ratio program you will find.  It has several options to make it VERY simple (like other programs) or you can add the various amounts of detail as you need.  It will make professional printouts for your customers, even with your company name and graphics logo, letting them know you check all the details when engine building.  The new two Pro features include:

A)  The program will determine the stroke or bore required to produce a given cubic inch displacement

B)  The program will produce reports of various outputs as a certain other input is changed.  These reports are displayed in Notepad so they can be saved, modified or printed.  These reports consist of:

PRO Version's Table of Bolt Loads vs RPM

If you have the standard or Plus version of Compression Ratio Calculator, you can upgrade to Pro at a discount.  Upgrading from the standard version is $70; upgrading from Plus version is $40.

3) HNot Rod Videos  There's a couple of motorheads on youtube with quite a following called Not Rod Shop (not Hot Rod Shop).  They do lots of hands on and DIY videos working on their cars.  They use a couple of Performance Trends products and feature them on some of their videos.  You might want to check it out and subscribe at the links below.
