1)  Featured Product:  Quick Cam Checker  As usual, there was a lot of interest at the PRI trade show for our Quick Cam Checker.  It lets you quickly measure a cam's profile in the engine, while turning it over with the starter.  For tech inspectors and racers, being quick is a big advantage.

  (Lift sensor bracket for GM 602/604 or GM LS crate motors.  Lift sensors not included with bracket.)

We've made several improvements in the system over the years, which include:  

• We now have brackets for measuring tappet lift on the pushrods for 602 and 604 crate motors, and GM LS1 "Cathedral Port" heads and the GM LS3 Rectangular Port heads.  Gen 1 SB Chevy bracket coming soon.
• The firmware in the logger itself can better accommodate either slower or faster starters, and is better at pointing out how to troubleshoot problems.  
• We've also added several features and hardware to let the system work on an engine stand, where you bar the engine over by hand.
• We've added adapters for you to make your own mounting hardware for various engines.
• We've got a strain relief kit to better secure the USB cable going into the logger.

We now have adapters for the ends of the lift sensors, either magnetic (QCC-PKM) or threaded (QCC-PKT).  If you are measuring valve lift off the valve spring retainer, the magnetic adapter should provide a more solid connection between sensor and the steel retainer.  The 4-40 threaded adapter should let you get creative with mounting adapters for your more unusual valve trains.

We have also developed a strain relief kit (QCC-SRP) to provide a more solid connection for the USB cable in the logger.
