1)  Engine Log Book Pro Released  As we said in last month's newsletter, we've released our Engine Build Log Book Pro version.  We've also just released a new movie showing how you can enter measurements directly into the log book using the proper instrument with USB link.  The same method can be used in our Standard and Plus versions of the Engine Build Log Book.

As we said last month, some of the new Pro's features include:

Engine Log Book Pro Show Clearances w Graph.gif (23653 bytes)  (click image to enlarge typical Pro version's "Show Clearance Contributions in Notepad w Graph")

If you already own either the standard Engine Log Book, or Plus version of Engine Log Book, you can upgrade to the Pro version at a discount for $450 or $350 respectively.  Because we need to verify ownership for these prices, to send us an email and we will send instructions on how to order.

2) Port Flow w FlowCom Bug Fix  We've fixed a bug in our Port Flow Analyzer v3.5C when working with an SF1020 bench.  If you did a range change through the earlier software, the software would automatically start recording data after the range change.  Now the software does not do this.  A typical range change is shown below, where now it also lists the flow CFM for each Range #.  There is also a handy Ctrl-F5 shortcut key for doing a range change, so you don't have to go through options with your mouse.

If you own v3.5C, this is a free update.  If you install the latest v3.5C over your existing v3.5C, when asked, select to do a Refresh installation instead of a Complete (typical) installation.  This way all of your settings are saved and you will not have to unlock again.

If you own the Pro version of v3.5B, it is a $100 update charge.  From Pro v3.5A it is a $200 charge.  Older versions or Basic or Head Porter versions would have different costs.

to send us an email to see what your update cost would be.  Include your name and shipping address for when your software was purchased.
