1) Gen 2 SuperFlow Dyno Control Valve We've developed a new actuator for the water valve on SuperFlow tm dynos. We believe it is more durable than the previous valve actuator, and has limit switches for maximum opening and closing travel. It is also better suited for doing both valve position control, and RPM control.

3) Smokey's Smarts Smokey Yunick has been gone for many years, but his work is still used to guide race engine builders to this day. If you do any work on a flow bench, you know that most of the world flows heads at 28" water. I always thought is was because it was about 1 psi (nice, round number) and produced reasonable flows, somewhat similar to an engine's flow rate. However, one of our customers shared an old article by Smokey and he describes the work done to come up with 28". It is an interesting read, and lets us know a lot of thought and work went into it.
We have an FAQ on our website, where I explain what's going on inside the engine. It was to answer a user's question about the quality of his flow data if he does not flow at 28". I explain that the engine is NOT running with 28" across the valve, as shown below in this picture from this FAQ. However, now this FAQ has a link to this article from Smokey provided by Allen Roberts, Starting Line Products, Idaho Falls, ID. Many thanks to Allen.

4) Featured Product - Land Speed Software Land Speed racers are a pretty small, tight knit community. It is also one type of racing where the rules are relatively open, and creativity is rewarded. These tracks have very limited schedules, so you may have to wait 6 months to a year to try your modifications or adjustments.
Some of these racers use our Drag Racing Analyzer Pro to simulate what they may see when they go to Bonneville or other top speed tracks. It has many features that top speed racers have requested to simulate what's happening through a 6 mile track, or most any other distance.
