Overview:

The "Plus" version of Engine Analyzer can be ordered when you first purchase the Engine Analyzer v3.4, or can be added most any time after you have purchased it. The enhancements consist of:

  • Calculate up to 20 RPMs in a run.

  • Calculate performance for alternate fuels like Diesel, propane or CNG (compressed natural gas).

  • Estimate Piston-to-Valve Clearance.

  • More graphing features.

  • The "Optimize" feature which lets you pick and modify most any engine specs and watch the effect on the torque and power curve right on the screen. This is great for quickly finding which specs have the most effect on your engine's performance.

  • Use Full Flow Curve for the head's ports.

  • Use Millimeter inputs for engine dimensions.

  • Customize what data gets reported in the output.

  • You can define which colors are used for various graph lines to enhance screen appearance and printed graph quality.

  • The Duration at .200" is displayed in the Cam/Valve Train specs screen so you can see instantly how cam profile rating affects duration at higher lift.

  • Import Head files from Performance Trends' Port Flow Analyzer flow bench software.

  • Variable Valve Timing (V V T) to let you switch to different cam specs at a particular RPM (like done with many modern, computer controlled engines).

  • Define "dwell over nose" (like "cheater" cams) to the nearest 2 degree increment.

  • Dwell over nose can be different on the intake and exhaust lobe.

  • Specify the cam profile in more detail using "Ramp Rating".

  • Calculate a Ramp Rating based on duration at .050" (or 1 mm, .040") and either seat timing or timing at .200" lift.

  • E85 as a fuel option.

  • Include the "Special Calculations" section in ASCII data files.

  • Many new options for including various data on printed graphs, like comments, torque and HP data, etc.

  • You can now include a "company logo" graphics file on your printouts.

  • You can now include 2 lines of user definable text (like company name and website) on your printouts.
