Circle Track magazine, Nov 2004, p 35-42, did a follow up of their July 2004 story on Computers in Racing.  This time they included our Engine Analyzer (Std, Plus and Pro), Compression Ratio Calculator, Lap/Segment Timer, Pit Stop Mileage Calculator, Rotating Inertia Calculator, Coil Spring Tester, and Circle Track Log Book programs.  Also included are programs from other companies.

Circle Track magazine, July 2004 did some coverage on our Circle Track software and DataMite data loggers, plus some of the competition, starting on page 25.  Like the "editor's note" says, the author of the article owns one of the other companies, and could be biased toward his software.  Personally, I think the article is pretty fair to all companies.  However, it does leave out some of our other circle track racing software, like our Lap/Segment timer (computerized stop watch)  http://www.performancetrends.com/Lap%20Timer.htm  ,   Pit Stop Mileage Calculator  http://www.performancetrends.com/Pit%20Stop%20Milage.htm  , and our upcoming Circle Track Log book.

Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords magazine, Dec 2003/page 128 and Feb 2004/page 110, "Ultimate Guide to Cylinder Heads, Part 5 and Part VII" give flow data for numerous Ford heads tested at Westech Performance using our Port Flow Analyzer v3.0 software with SuperFlow's FlowCom.

Corvette Enthusiast, August 2003 (pages 60-61) has the article "Virtual 'Vetting" by Dave Emanuel of Random Technology where he uses the Drag Racing Analyzer Pro to simulate performance improvements for Corvettes. Corvette Fever, August 2003.  Dave Emanuel answers a "Tech Line" question from a reader on "Does performance prediction software work and which program is best?" Dave recommends Drag Racing Analyzer Pro as the program he uses. .

Car Craft, page 74-77 February 2003 "8 Second Crate Motor" used our 4 Link Calculator to dial in their 408 Windsor Mustang. 

Drag Sport magazine, Issue 3, Jan/Feb 2003 featured an article called Project GT-R on page 32 highlighting Engine Analyzer and Drag Racing Analyzer, which can be viewed at www.dragsport.com

Street Rodder,  December 2003 has an article by Joe Abbin of Roadrunner Engineering where he uses the Engine Analyzer Pro to build some flat head engines with good results.

Engines and Chassis Dynos, Performance Racing Industry September 2002 pages 80-87, discusses latest dyno and dyno instrumentation offerings from various companies.  Performance Trends' Dyno DataMite and DataMite II are mentioned as very affordable ways to update older dynos, engine or chassis, inertia or absorber dynos.

Close To You, Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords,  August 2002, page 198 by David Vizard mentions how Drag Racing Analyzer was used to estimate the effect of close ratio trans gears.
